Ellinor Niit, lecturer and researcher at the Swedish School of Textiles. Working on new resource efficient processes for dyeing and finishing of textiles. Background from process development and environmental coordination in the Swedish textile industry and textile consultancy with global assignments.

Bio:
Sandra Roos, Ph.D. in environmental systems analysis and textile researcher at RISE. Sandra Roos is a researcher specialized in the environmental impact of textiles. Sandra achieved her doctoral title within the Mistra Future Fashion programme, focusing on life cycle assessment and textile chemicals, where she also lead the Supply Chain Theme. Currently, she heads the Swedish Chemicals Group at RISE where 140 member companies are given support in their daily work with avoiding unwanted chemicals in their products.

Measuring the Total Impact of a Garment

Bio:
Lisa Rosengren is the Head of Research & Development for the Raw material department at Fristads and Kansas work wear brands. She is also responsible for chemical compliance, PPE certifications, Fristads OEKO-TEX® and Fristads and Kansas own inhouse textile laboratory. Over the last ten years Lisa has been a member of the Chemical group at RISE in Sweden. She is also involved in the Vinnova innovation project POPFREE where the aim is to find and develop alternatives to PFAS for textiles. Lisa holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Textile Business Administration from The Swedish School of Textiles at the University of Borås.

Fristads has recently published the world´s first Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) on garment level. During this process Lisa has been a part of the committee setting the Product Category Rules (PCR´s) for garments but also driving the work on all raw material developments for the collection. Fristads is Scandinavia´s leading producer of professional workwear and sells workwear throughout Europe.
